The Story of Jimmie Lamb Ham A Lamb raising hogs... and now a lamb with a ham! When the very first meat shop (market) opened on those Saturdays in the 90's we were fortunate enough to have a friend / employee working with us that had experience in the meat business who taught Jim how to cure bacon's and hams. Jim tweaked the process and continued to learn over the years. As our children moved away to work they introduced our products to their friends and colleagues in Halifax. It was thanks to these friends and co-workers asking not just for ham but wanting a "Jimmie Lamb Ham" that the "Home of Jimmie Lamb Ham" brand was born. The line of Jimmie Lamb Hams has expanded from the original whole smoked hams and picnics to several varieties / flavors of fully cooked boneless hams. Always, maintaining the quality that has come to be expected from a "Jimmie Lamb Ham."
