To ensure that our pork products are both safe and of a high quality we follow both industry standards and set in place other criteria that we follow to achieve our goal of safe ,quality products.

  • Monthly herd Health Checks to help us maintain or exceed industry standards for the care and health of our animals from birth to market.
  • All animals are sent to an independent abattoir to be slaughtered; there they must meet provincially standards before being returned to us for further processing.
  • Our market and processing facility is also a provincially inspected site, a privilege that is highly important to us and we take maintaining those standards very seriously.
  • ALL retail, butchering, management, and catering staff have their Food Handlers Course Level 1.
  • WHIMIS trained staff.
