Pork on the BBQ: if you don't have a thermometer simply apply light pressure to the surface using a fork. This squeezes some juice to the surface. If the juice is clear, the meat is cooked. A hint of pink is fine. Pork burgers should be well cooked the same as beef, but don't over cook!

Roast pork: LOW and SLOW, the results will be a higher cooked yield, less shrinkage and juicier pork roasts because LOW heat roasting tenderizes proteins and connective tissue while retaining more juices.
